REEL/REFLECT

1. Acceptance

By using ReelReflect (the "site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms form an agreement between you and VoidStarLabs ("we", "us"), the maintainer of ReelReflect.

2. What ReelReflect is

ReelReflect is a free, static, client-side web application that lets you upload an IMDb "Your Ratings" CSV export and view an analytical dashboard of your viewing history. The site has no backend; all parsing and analysis runs in your browser.

ReelReflect is an independent, fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by IMDb.com, Inc., Amazon.com, Inc., Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc., or any other film studio, distributor, streaming service, or rights holder. "IMDb" and any related marks, logos, and trade dress are the property of their respective owners. References to IMDb on this site — including in the upload instructions, the ticker, and the dashboard — are descriptive only, used to identify the format of the “Your Ratings” CSV export you may choose to analyze. No endorsement, partnership, or affiliation is claimed or implied.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the file you upload. Only upload data that you have the right to use.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer for malicious purposes, or otherwise interfere with the site or its users.
• Do not use the site to commit, facilitate, or encourage any unlawful activity.
• You must be old enough under the laws of your jurisdiction to enter into this agreement.

4. Intellectual property

The ReelReflect source code is open-source and licensed under the license published in the project repository. The name "ReelReflect", the wordmark, and the brutalist filmstrip visual identity are the property of VoidStarLabs. You may not use these marks in a way that suggests endorsement of, or affiliation with, an unaffiliated product or service.

Curated reference data bundled with the site (the movies, directors, and awards lists) is included for analysis purposes only and remains the property of its respective sources.

5. No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Analytical output is for entertainment and personal-reflection purposes only and should not be relied on as authoritative.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoidStarLabs and the contributors to ReelReflect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. External links

The site contains links to external services such as Ko-fi and voidstarlabs.gg. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published at this URL, with the effective date updated above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
